Megasquirt simple firmware question
simple firmware question
Muy,
I have a simple question. Im about to upgrade to your new firmware the 026i I believe it is. Do you suggest a specific version of megatune? I will be taking the MS out of the car and upgrading the extra file, megatune and adding easy therm in one step. Thanks for the help and especially for the new firmware,Shawn

MegaTune 2.25b717 works for me!
This has already been answered but I'll repost it here.
The newer versions support saving your settings as xml files, which makes it easier to upgrade to new versions of the firmware... your settings are less likely to get corrupted.
I'd use the latest one from the 700 series for megatune if I were you.

Look over in my thread Upgrading firmware: https://www.rx7club.com/megasquirt-forum-153/upgrading-firmware-494150/
I listed all the fixes necessary to go to MT b717. Going to the xml based files will make future upgrades easier.
