Megasquirt Sell me on this MS-need opinions/info
So I pulled this MS130-C w/pcb 3.0 off this blown t2. I had the motor rebuilt, and now I just want to get it running. The car came with a stock ecu so I thought to try to get it running stock first, and then look into tuning etc.
So, Im still trying to source a MAP sesnor. I replaced the 1000cc secondaries with OEM 550s. Theres a hogged out S4 turbo on there now.
Should I stick with this ecu? Id like to know what everyone thinks. What would be neccessary to just dive right into the MS

How much do you want to learn about wiring, electronics, and tuning?
I would recommend at least upgrading the CPU in there to an ms2, and making the mods necessary to support that. The ms1 code is really no longer under active development, while ms2/extra is still getting new features and bug fixes.
No other ECU will help you learn as much about tuning and electronics as the MS, and when you're done it'll run as well as, if not better than just about any other ECU out there.
