S5 tps wiring

ok i know i post alot of simple questions but hey we all had to learn right??????

so im using the S5 TPS in my build do i use both the TPS or just one? and how do i go about wiring them? the top one is a long range i understand so if i used just one logic tells me to use just that one.

The full range TPS is the best one to use. I don't know the wiring off hand, but it is easy to find. Using a meter, find two wires that always show the same resistance regardless of TPS position. Then disconnect one of the probes from those two wires and find the third wire that changes resistance as the TPS moves. You have now found your TPS wires. If the resistance falls when you move the TPS towards WOT, then the + probe wire gets 5V ref. If it is opposite, then the - probe wire gets 5V ref.
