ms build question

ok i have been trying to wrap this damn project up and i think i am about to put this ms in the skeet thrower.

anyway in aaron cakes write up it has the step that involves the resistors on the LED's i am using a zeal daughtercard do i need to run the wires from the led to the pin outs on the other side of the board?

this step?
Now run lengths of hookup wire as follows:

* Square pad of D16 to IAC1B (pin 27 on DB37). This is the trailing trigger.
* Square pad of D15 to IAC2A (pin 29 on DB37). This is the trailing toggle.
* Square pad of D14 to IAC2B (pin 31 on DB37). This is the leading trigger.

You can see these wires are ran along the bottom of the board, well away from the VR circuit.

Yes, as my writeup states, those LEDs are used for ignition output to the coils.

understood just was kinda confused since the zeal board attaches to the same locations. kinda wish i had never used the zeal card and just built it like you suggest aaron.

I've never used the Zeal board, but I don't see how it attaches to the LEDs. The Zeal board contains some VR circuits, an PWM IAC driver and a few extra outputs.

Don't follow more then one writeup. Because what outputs are used for what is basically arbitrary, you will get in trouble following more then one writeup. I use the IAC wires for ignition output, while others may use the SPR wires.
