required fuel

Try to understand the required fuel for rotary's.
I follow the example as stated on the rotary section of the megamanual. This example shows a 13B with two 720cc injectorsand a required fuel of 8ms. If i fill this in the megatune calcutator i get 3 ms instead of the 8ms as in the example.

Or does i have to fool the calculator by saying there are 4 injectors with 360cc? Then i get 6ms and still no 8 ms.

My setup is a 12A with two 660cc injectors. Is my required fuel 5.8 or 11.6ms?

You need to use "piston equivelant displacement" in the calculator. So double the displacement of the engine. Also type in 14.7 as your ideal A/F ratio.

Or, don't bother with the calculator and type in "10". It's almost an arbirtary number as long as it falls within a range that will let you get enough injector time range while not having super low VE numbers of 1 or 2...

10 ms? That gives me a duty cylce of over 100%
At 7500 rpm you have one crank revolution every 8 ms.
So required fuel above 8ms can't be right???.

Set it to 10.

If you then find that the lower part of your VE table is very low (under 10), then set it to 9 or 8.

The "true" req-fuel would be 5.6 or 5.7.

6.8 for a 13B.

This with two GSL-SE injectors, one injection per rotation.
