Well, firstly, are there any other fds with a megasquirt setup, if so i would like to hear about them.

I have heard to go with aem, haltech, or power fc, well i am up for the challenge of megasquirt ems.

I have been told it cant be done right, but i believe it can, and will out perform others. I believe i will be the first fd to have a megasquirt setup.
Omaha is like the megasquirt capital, there are so many cars here running and including a 10 second 2001 chevy 1500 that won its class in hot rod magazine's drag week, and a 500 hp turboed 4.6l mustang.
95% of the ms ems are built by the same guy, who is known as the "tuning god" and he will building mine. (i would like to say helping me, but moreover he is doing most of the work)

The project should be underway as soon as i get my shift fork fixed in my tranny, and updates will be posted.

And a question, what is the record for hp and qtr mile time on stock turboes? I want to break it.
I only have 13,000 miles on the engine and turboes so i know they are up to the challenge.

 

Rotarygod and I are working on an RX8 with a megasquirt powering fuel and spark, RG uses a megasquirt on his 1st gen.

I like the MS system, I'm sure it could be made to work on a simple turbo system, thats why we are looking at it for my car, I'm not sure how the complexity of the TT system would work with the megasquirt.

I added support for FD style ignition with leading and trailing too; it'll work in msns-extra 025k or later... you shouldn't have any problem getting ignition to work.

If anyone has heard of deiselgeek. He is doing mine.

 

yeah I know of him... I've seen him on the msefi forum. The ignition code works great for both stock FC ignition and from what I hear stock FD ignition. I'm sure he's seen that on the msefi forum though.

Last I heard 13Beast REW was also megasquirting his FD... although I haven't heard from him in a while.
