And I know you guys in development are very busy with your work etc. But I was wondering if there was a possibility of adding the conversion from ms1 to msII into the faq. I am going to be buying the chip here with my next paycheck I think. I will be able to figure it out without too much error but I know that there is going to be a lot of new set-up things to figure out with megatune. I don't know if this may be in the works already either. Just thought I would mention it. You guys are awesome. This forum is very informative to us rotary guys.

I know this has come up in the past ... It should get done eventually, I think its just who can step up and get it done ... I know muythai has zero time, I actually started to compile some screenshots, and have a half version done, but iirc it is based on the 029T or prior code, I'm, not even sure if menus or options have moved around since then, but they do occasionally...now this is for ms1 ... I know ms2's shots are going to be waaay different ... and this is not even counting the hardware mods...
I guess I can try to spend some more time to finish it up ... If anyone wants to lend a hand let me know(especially someone on ms2/extra)...

^^ Well, thinking back (haven't been on a lot lately) I probably shouldn't have posted this. It makes me seem as if I am being impatient, when really I was just thinking about people who haven't done it yet. I usually get most of my new info about the system off of the megasquirt forums/megamanual etc.
As I said before, you guys rock. Good things take time right?

The conversion from one to the other is very simple though... if you're not using any extra outputs, it's as simple as swapping the chip, running a +12v to the chip (to keep the stepper motor controller from getting too hot), and switching the 2nd trigger input to the location specified in the ms2/extra docs.
