Please Help

The directions say I have finished after installing the led's and the 4.7 k pull up resistors. But I still have a lot of places on my board that aren't used and alot of parts left. I don't understand I followed the directions completley. Any one else have this problem?

Depending on what circuits you built and stuff, you will have a lot of spare parts...

Take a pic of your board that's fairly close up, and post it... Then we can tell you if you missed anything important. You DID buy a stimulator didn't you? You could test your board with that as well.

Actually, if you buy a kit, you're not given any extra stuff... you're given just what is needed to build every circuit on the board, no more, no less..

You can end up with extra parts if you decide not to install certain circuits... I never install the Hall sensor/coil negative tach circuit for example...

There are a lot of options when building this board, which is why I asked for a pic. I can tell you from looking if you'll be able to run the engine with it.

It looks like you missed all the capacitors in the serial port circuit, you should put those in...

It also looks like you didn't install some of the PWM flyback components or the coil negative tach circuit... which is fine if you didn't want them... You definitely need to install c26,c27,c28, and c29 though.

Did you go through all the testing steps as you built it? Never built a v3, but I am sure they go though testing the supply and serial circuits... No stim, I guess?

the capacitors I listed are part of the serial port circuit.

Got ya I put those in, and I ordered my stimulator. I know I should have got it before so hopefully I did everything correctly.
