Hello

So I've been driving my 12A streetport nikki fed with a TII CAS and msns-extra controlling the ignition.

Um, I had a stretch of spirited driving a few weeks ago where it seems my motor saw 10500ish rpm.

I am greatly worried I've hurt it, and to prevent this happening again, I'm thinking of putting a Hardcut revlimit of 7600rpm.



If i just type 7600 or 8100 or whatever rev limit i want, will the controller simply stop the ignition events from happening until the revs drop below the setpoint?

This won't cause detonation? I know it might throw a hudge amount of fuel out the exhaust and destroy another set of hotdogs but I'd prefer this to cracking or spitting a side,corner or apex seal.
