So I've been reading around in this forum, and I've decided that I'm probably going to get a MS. I'd like to get one of the Zeal plug and play units, but I have a few questions about it first:

1. How much are the units?
2. What do I need in addition to the MS?

 

well, the plug-and-play units should be just that.. plug and play. you unplug the stock ECU, plug in the MS and go.

For tuning, you will need a serial cable, and if you dont have a serial port on your laptop, you'll need a serial-to-usb adaptor. If you plan on tuning it yourself, a wideband O2 sensor is very, very helpful (basically required if you dont already have a ton of experience tuning boosted rotaries), and you'll want to locate it further downstream than the stock O2 sensor hole, so you'll need to weld a bung on to the exhaust (between the DP and main cat seems to work well for me, it'll work if you dont have the pre-cat). You'll also need the megatune software.
