i need some help does anyone know how to set the software for the megasquirt
1 v 2.2 and i also have the board to control the stock ign im really stupid cause i work on computers and i cant even set this up i would really apreciate any help

 

look at the faq at the top of the page. be more specific as to what SET UP means.

 

i looked but the one the sof that the link goes to is not the same as the one on that post
even after i install the firmware

 

that means you need to copy msns-extra.ini from the firmware directory to your car1/mtCfg directory.

It won't look exactly the same as the FAQ as the newer firmware has rearranged the menus, but most of the dialogs will be the same.

 

i did that but i still dont see the 1+3 anywhere

 

You also have to edit your settings.ini and make sure that you #unset MSI and #set MSNS_EXTRA

 

i did that too the only thing not active is the rotary split option

 

ok i think igot it just one more thing when i set the settings tha u posted and i burn the in the ecu all the leds light up and stay lit is this normal or does any body have a saved file i

that's normal since the LED's control ignition. When they're on that means they're not charging your coils.

one more now that the leds do the ignition do i still have to conect something to the original coil input in the megasquirt

 

I'm not even sure what you're talking about... are you talking about the vb921 output? If that's the case the answer is no.

 

im talking about the one in the big connector where the wires to the injectors and sensors
