I was wondering if some one can help me out here. I got an ms130-c and I want to put it in my TII vert. I am using the 88 s4 stock vert ecu along with the 88 s4 harness on an s5 TII engine with stock turbo. I put an s4 throttle body on the s5 engine and I'm using s4 TII injectors for the primary and gsl-se injectors for secondary. Just to give you an Idea. My question is can I manage fuel and ignition with this standalone and where can I find a map that will be best for this kind of set up. I saw in one of the FAQ list that it is possible to keep the stock ecu and use the MS to run the fuel and ignition. Will this work for me and do you know of someone that has gone down this route. Do you know of any write up on this so I can install it with me not messing this up? I know I'm asking for a lot but no one that I know here in Orlando has an idea of what MS even is. If you can point me to the right direction it would help a lot. Thanks AC

 

I want to pick up a wideband today as well. What would be my best bet and one that works perfect with my MS. Do I have to buy the whole standalone WB or just a combo?

 

You'll want a controller and sensor.

I've had good results with techedge controllers, and others have had good results with the Innovate controller.

Yeah. I know a guy here in Orlando that have 6 in stock. He has them on ebay too.

 

Finally got a well known shop here in Orlando that will dyno tune my 7 with the MS. Central Florida Turbo will do it for $395 but it has to be installed. So I have to install the wideband and the MS and Assemble the MSNSE DB. So I hope you guys can help me out with a couple of new jack Questions so I can have it ready in a week for the dyno.

So all I have to do is put this blue section together. Also what other sections do I have to assemble? Like for power and to hook it up to the main board. Looks like it would be P1 and P8 right? Would that be all? I'm going to try to assemble this so I can take the next leap in installing it to the 7. I really don’t want to take the teeth grinding route unless you guys think its best.

 

I can see it in the FAQ but I just can't picture it. If anyone has any pics plz post them. When I am done doing this I will take step by step pics so if any novice like me decides to do this he/she will not have to go through what I'm going through right now. Ok Thanks. I have one last question. It seems I'm not going to get much help here. If I buy the MSII chip and put it in can I run ignition without doing any mods to the board?

 

iirc you will have to do the same mods to the board as with an ms1 chip ...
