What confuses me is the connection differences between the proto area VR2 circuit and the Zeal daughtercard. Following AaronCake's writeup, I have it all wired and need to know if I have done it right! I am confused as to where to connect the extras!

I have fully assembled the zeal however am only using VR2

I currently have this configuration;

2nd VR circuit

VR2OUT - JS10
Lower VR2 - IAC1A
Upper VR2 - IAC1B
IDLIN - Bottom R19
IDLOUT - Band D8

Tach Driver

IN1 - JS11
OUT1 - SPR3

Fan control

Pin 'C' of 2N3904 - SPR4 (Aaroncake's writeup shows IAC1A as the contact point but the zeal has taken up that spot)

Now, The 4.7K pull up resistors are installed but I haven't connected leads form IAC1B-2B to make sure that this is infact the way to connect them in my current configuration.

Also, configuring them this way, I've messed up on my DB37 Config and have to re-check the pins to find out what goes where!

I'd be interested in this myself, as I'll be in a similar position myself shortly.

 

There are 4 other "spare" pins on the DB37. Just use one of those.
