Megasquirt ms3 1.1 rotary mode (and 3 and 4 rotor support)
ms3 1.1 rotary mode (and 3 and 4 rotor support)
So I have added rotary mode in 1.1. What this means is that you no longer "hack" the settings to set up for rotary. For example, a 2 rotor no longer gets set up as a 4 cyl 4 stroke. Instead it is set up as a 2 rotor "rotary" stroke. Setting "rotary" stroke automatically turns on trailing ignition as well.
In addition, with these changes, I also added 3-rotor and 4-rotor leading and trailing COP support, so you can now run full COP ignition and sequential staged injection 3 or 4 rotors on MS3!

Excellent! So at this point in development, would you say that there isn't any point in worrying about the sate of MS3 for a reliable, daily driven application that will be sort of a "set it and forget it" car? Or should those seeking such a thing stick with MSII for the time being?
So you know, the first engine to run on the official ms3 hardware was a 13B.
