MS on REW

Hello gentlemen! I'm in the process of doing my homework for an REW swap into my 81 GSL and everyone seems to believe the simplest route would be to install a standalone. I will be using the 12a front cover so that I can front mount the engine, so i"ll be ditching the FD Crank sensor and going with a 2nd Gen CAS. OMP will be blocked off and premix will be ran.

My question is, once changing to the 2nd Gen CAS would I not be able to run the engine with a MS as if it were a standard T2? It's my understanding the FD has a full range TPS as opposed to the S4 on/off TPS... can anyone lese see any major concerns? I'd rather not spend a $1000 on a microtech if I can go MS with just as good results.

Thanks in Advance!

For tps you will want the full range one. You will also need to change the way the turbos are set up. I went single with my swap and avoided that issue. beside that you should be able to follow the write up and be on your way. Good luck.

With the 2nd gen CAS, you can run it as if it was any other 2nd gen rotary. Grab the 2nd gen coils as well, because they don't suck like the FD coils.
