i got all that i needed for my 88 turbo jspec from dyi , good sales person would recommend buying from them.
my kit/s that i got.
ecu:
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...-kit-p-46.html
harness:
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/1...eady-p-43.html
daughterboard for second vr build:
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/c...oard-p-86.html
my wide band 02:
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/i...nsor-p-41.html

after all that you will need just little things as in the second vr parts like 40 bucks? at the most. resistors and what nots.
then after that its software download then the rest is pretty much dyno tunning or street tunes if your a skilled person in that area.
i highly recommend reading on the MSQ build link to further understand what you are makeing and what each little part does and its soul purpose.
HERE IS THE BIBLE OF MEGASQUIRT: bask is all its knowledge and be enlightened?

The link to the "daughtercard for second vr" above is an MSII daughtercard. It doesn't have a 2nd VR circuit.

Edit...You can use either the MSI or the MSII, doesn't matter. Both work for the rotary at this point. The MSnSE for the MSI is more "mature" but no longer developed. MS_Extra for the MSII is still being developed and seems to be bug free for the rotary at this point.

Ms2-extra 2.x.x are a little more difficult to get running on a rotary due to noise issues, and the way the G signal is read/used, but I'll have that fixed for 2.1.0.

Other than that, we're pretty solid on the rotary.

ok I have been talking to local tuners today. And one said he didnt tune the MS and another one said he was aware of it but would need to see the software before he could tell me yes or no.

I downloaded megetune, but I obviously cant use it because I cant connect it to anything.

Is there anything out there, like some sort of software demo, or at the very least maybe a page with some screen shots?

I have a feeling this guy will be able to do it, I just don't want to commit to one of these things if I cant find a tuner.

The only problem with this is that how do i know I have seen all the screens if I dont know what they are in the first place.

I can drop down any menus or anything, but the you tube thing is a good idea, I have seen a lot of videos of the stimulator but not really the actual software. I shall look harder though.

Thanks

Megatune can run "offline". It's in the file menu. Download someone else's MSQ file, load it in Megatune, and play.

you could try this and just DL the software to your pc and fool around in it. there will be no maps but atleast see the maps and other running settings.
heres the site: http://www.diyautotune.com/softwarelinks.htm
youll find somthing like what i copyied below in there i think thats one you can play around with.

bottom link is for windows DL:

yeah I downloaded that, I think I need to do like Aaron said and download someones msq file because it tells me this when I try to start it:

For pre-Extra MS-II:
1) Short the "B/LD" jumper on the MS-II board.
2) Power cycle MS-II.
3) File->Open.

and there is file to open.

You're running the wrong file. Sounds like you are trying to install firmware.

Yeah I realized that but, I couldn't get mega tune to run either, Ill figure it out when I get some time.

I sent the tuner a couple pretty good vids from youtube, he should have a decent idea from them.
