I'm building a MS-II 3.0 for my 89 tII that I put in my 85 GSL.

What I'm having trouble with is, how do I set up the MS-II when using a Zeal Daughterboard?
I set it up fot VR, but what other things do I use jumpers on? how do I set up the ignition? I'm using stock FC coils.

I'm new at the megasquirt thing, anyone know alot about this setup?

Will the PWM driver on the zeal board work for my BAC or do I still need to do the PWM Mod?

 

You can do either one. I use the one on the zeal board usually, but either mod will work.

I guess what I should have asked is will the transistor hold up on your board. I have no idea how many amps my bac draws but I would think it's under 3. I have a bunch of diodes for wiring solar panels, you think that would work for the flyback you can get from the bac.
You ever thought about adding a egt input to the board, I think that would be cool.

 

also what version should I be using for this ms-II

 

I'd use the 2.1.0 firmware.

The ztx688 has never had an issue holding up for me with the BAC. I've been using the same one in my own MS for years now.
