mixed impeadence fuel injectors

is it possible to mix a pair of low imp. Injectors with a pair of high imp injectors using resistors or is this frowned apon?

you can put resistors on the low-imp injectors, but just make sure that the resistors are rated for the amount of current (~14v/~10ohms = ~1.4 amps. 14v*1.4amps ~ 20 watts)

Larger injectors may open a bit more slowly if you run them through a resistor, and you won't be able to get as much fuel as possible with all low imp at the same duty cycle as you would with high imp or resistorized low-imp

I would only do this with MS2, since it has the ability to use different injector characteristics on each channel.

I can't find the option in MS2e1.0.2 but found it in MS2e2.0.1 is it a 2.xx only feature?

Also has anyone gotten 201 working with the same hardware as 102 just with the 2nd vr input shifted? My car wouldn't run with 201

I didn't have enough "success" with the MS2 at all with both versions, so I reverted back to MS1, so I can't tell you

There's a 2.0.2a beta that's out now that has built in false triggering protection similar to ms1 for better noise immunity.Sounds promissing, may want to give that try since you access to a scope.

A question for Muythaibxr, would you still have to run the lm1815's with the "one shot disabled" with this code mode ?

I've gotten 2.0.1 working by just changing the 2nd VR input conditioner a bit.

The feature you refer to is a 2.0.x feature only.

Yeah, you would, the 2nd trigger input is has no noise filtering.

At some point I'm going to add an option to poll the second input instead of using the interrupt though.
