Microsquirt DIYPNP
Anyone know if this Microsquirt DIYPNP engine management system will work with the S4 Rx-7? Here's the link:

I'm curious if anyone else is running this engine management system. Thanks

So is it as simple as I build the Ecu and plug it in? Or is there slightly more required than that. I haven't read to extensively. Will the Microsquirt plug right in to the stock harness as if it were the stock ecu or is more modification required? If it's as simple as that, my money will most likely be invested in microsquirt considering the simplicity. I'll just have to keep up my research.

You will need to make a few minor modifications to the stock harness. Off the top of my head, rewire the fuel pump cut circuit (or at least add a jumper) because the fuel pump circuit is routed though the AFM in stock form.

it not that Simple .. I built one for my S5 Na Vert. Spent 4 months talking to DIY Tech Support
And Finally put it on the back burner. I had no spark . Hey AC does the S5 harness need to modded for the DIYPNP? I noticed my fuel cut off switch was not working when I tried different settings searching for spark.

I instaled and tuned one a year ago and whas easy I had to make a new harness because the one I have was in bad shape and it was a toyota starlet with a turbo II engine. The only problem I have was I do not put the ALT_CAM jumper (with a 51k I think) to ground and had no rpm signal, but DIYAUTOTUNE tech suport help me with that I used fd mode for the spark. worked fine.

I'm running this system. Started out with damaged board (not replaced, just used a patch) that needed jumper wires to bypass damaged areas. It’s working fine now.
For any build questions, just make sure you work with only ONE of the employees in Tech Support there as your emails can easily get misconstrued leading to inaccurate information and you definitely don't want that. Trust me!
