Megasquirt Diypnp

Diypnp
Well the diypnp is only available for the S5 rx7 and up but soon will come out for the S4. I was wondering if anyone has one and whats different about assmbly compared to the ms2 v3 and v3.57.
It would be nice to have a good how to for the diypnp with pics and a break down of what you will need. If the s4 diypnp comes out soon i will be picking one up and if i get my knowledge straight on what needs to be done differently from the ms2 if there is anything. Then I will be posting a very detailed how to with pics and possibly video. If the s4 diypnp doesn't come out by christmas I may just reinstall my s5 engine harness but I don't want to )

What we've tested so far is a 84 GSL-SE with a DIYPNP hard-wired in. Car had an S4 CAS and coil packs. This car we fully tuned and it ran beautifully.
We started testing on an S5 car, got the car fired up and free revving out nicely, but we've gotten sidetracked and haven't gotten the car on the dyno yet to finish out the tune. If we see interest here from you guys that will tend to light a fire that helps make it happen faster. We got sidetracked because owners of other vehicles seemed more interested so we're testing on those cars right now. Squeeky wheel gets the grease .

One more thing-- the S4 model (N52 DIYPNP kit) will be available in about a month or a bit less. They'll be available in limited quantities at first though until my big shipment of connectors comes in. I only have 20 right now until that big order gets here. It's due in late in Nov, early Dec maybe.

do you have to do any mod to the vr input signal? I have problems with that before with the 3.57 board and you have some pics that you can share with us?

Any update about this? Im in the its gonna be alive if I get an ems and get a new clutch stage. I have 3 options do the diypnp for the s5 and use my s5 efi harness, wait till the s4 diypnp comes out and use my s4 harness wich is on the s5 motor right now, or just screw all of that and follow arron cake's how to or muythaibxr's how to and go that route with a ms2. Part of me likes the pnp part of me likes the ms2 and the other part likes the built and tested ms2.

I just got an email from diyautotune after asking frore some calrifications. I thought other people may find them useful. Looks like all the extra parts required on the V3 bord will not be required on the diypnp.
Q:Will the diypnp have the second VR Sensor circuit?
A:Yes, it is already included!
Q:Will the diypnp be able to control pwm idle valves?
A:Already included again!
Q:Will i need to modify the bord to support and E-fan?
A:There are outputs already available capable of driving relays, which can then drive a fan. So... Yes!! It's already included :-)

I just got my DIYPNP S5 ecu today and with build it this weekend. This will be my 5th RX-7 MS install and first DIYPNP, but its looks like it will be another great product. Next I plan on installing a Microsquirt on my Yamaha V-Max using Honda VFR EFI throttle bodies in place of the stock carbs.
