Microsquirt A/C Idle-Up how-to-wire it up? '87 RX7 TII
1987 Mazda RX7 TII
Reply from DIYAUTOTUNE.COM: "Idle-Up Output is the ECU output to activate an AC compressor relay (usually a switched ground). IdleUp Input is the AC request button input from the dash to the ECU (usually a switched ground)."
Referring to the wiring below, for Idle-Up Output does an MS's wire connect to the LW wire out of the "A/C Main Relay" (top right corner area of pic)? And for Idle-Up Input (not sure of this one because of current flow direction), connect another of the MS's wire to the LO wire out of the "Refrigerant Pressure Switch" (lower left corner area of the pic)?
2nd pic below has the LW wire on pin F of the factory ECU, and the LO wire on pin E. My thinking is the ECU acts like an on-off switch between these 2 pins.
Am I'm correct with the above wiring of the Output and Input? However, I'm not sure if I have available pins. The attached file 'Pin nconnections.png' mainly show how the ECU is wired for the ignition parts, BAC (idle control valve), and boost solenoid. Pins assigned for FLEX and SPAREADC are available, planned for possible use down the road.
In Tunerstudio, the default for Idle-up is 'Off'. Not sure why that is.
