I had read somwhere previously that there was a recommended coil for use with megasquirt but can't seem to determine what it is. Any ideas? I plan to put 2nd gen inj. on a 12a with other than stock coils.

Could someone advise?! (on any other than ign. would also be appreciated).

Just use the stock coilpacks. They work great.
