MegaSquirting a n/a motor
i have a 2nd gen n/a motor and i whant to know if it is a good idea to do this? because some people are telling me they are extreamly hard to tune and i just whant to know if it is a good idea. and where do i get it from? ( the web site or no becassue it does not say anything about what is envolved for my motor harness just the computer its self.
megasquirt ecu is a diy standalone. if you have ***** enough to build a standalone to run your car.. then you might have ***** enough to tune it.. but its not for the weak hearted. you will run into some issues with building a setup that works for your engine. like if you have a s5 na motor.. then you will not be able to control the omp with MS..
you can buy a MS from http://www.diyautotune.com/ however dont buy it until you do lots and lots of research and figure out if you are capable of doing this to your vehicle.

MS is alot of work... wait no ALOT of work. In my case things keep going wrong but you definatly learn alot about electronics and your car. If you get it right it is awesome and if you know alot about it it is even better because you can tune it that much better and save alot of money. You need to be willing to devote alot of time and effort. you will probably be living on the MSEFI forums.... MSEFI.com. Do alot of research before buying anything.
