MegaSquirt ll now available

Just ordered one, couldn't wait for V3.0 PCB. Looks like some other changes coming quickly with processor etc. Fuel and spark tuning all in one if you havn't been following along.(yes I know there was Squirt n' Spark before)

I'm eagerly waiting for the v3.0 PCB. The open-source nature of the MegaSquirt means it should be able to do some really cool stuff, assuming we get some smart programmers / engineer-types working on it.

I bet all the C32 processors have been spoken for in less than 24 hours.

I don't need MS-II because I've got primary and secondary injectors and no need for IAC control. Besides, the MSnS-Extra code does everything I need it to do on the original CPU.

It'll take 6-9 months for the MS-II base code to catch up with the squirtnSpark Extra code. Less if more programmers come to the plate to help port the code to C.

One drawback of the MS-II is that it has less I/O than MS. Hopefully this can be overcome without limiting the combinations that support split spark timing.

I think I read that the I/O shortcomings will be fixed with the next processor and PCB upgrade "Only a few weeks away" . It seems that there is a different calender in use somewhere, or I'm just real impatient who knows! It's not going on anything special, a '59 Bugeye, we'll see which way I go on the important car...

Spin, that car isn't included in the $1.25 tour, there is a .15 upcharge to get that far back in the shop
