Hi Guys,

I have an opportunity to buy a MegaSquirt-II PCB V3.57 with a 12' labeled harness that is for an 87 N/A. I have an 84SE 13B with an S5 intake. Since I know very little about aftermarket ECU's, a have a few questions:

First----Do people purchase these ECU's due to aftermarket upgrades that were made to their car? (or) Would this be a good upgrade even for a stock 7 and give room for upgrades in the future?

2. How compatible is this with my SE, since it was bought for an 87?

3. Will this ECU allow me to eliminate my AFM? If so, what is required to do that?

4. How difficult is it to work with this unit to get my 7 running smoothly in a reasonable amount of time?
