You don't really need that to be honest, but DIY should have a diagram for it. I have personally never used one before.

Most RX-7 people don't use the relay box because most RX-7s were already set up for EFI. The relay box is mainly handy for older vehicles set up for carbs.

The wiring should be very similar between the regular installation and with the box. All the sensor and injector connections will be basically the same, however the relay box will take the place of the relays and fuse panel.

It appears that the relay box uses screw terminals to make a connection to your harness, so that means you're probably making your own harness instead of modifying the DB37 side of the harness. Also don't forget dielectric grease on those screw terminals.

You don't need any hall sensors as the MegaSquirt will use the existing VR sensors in the CAS. Be aware that your S5 electric metering oil pump cannot be controlled via the 'Squirt.

I suggest you look at the sticky threads for some more information. In particular, my tutorial covers all the sensors you will need.

Hey aron cake, Thank you kindly for the help. here is what I am doing. im building a full race car (time attack) the only wiring I will have is going to be the engine harness, Race pack, rear brake switch, toggles for IGN, fuel pump, starter, acc, and etc.. so yes the car will have my own home made harness. would you be able to give me a link of the thread and if you know link for the relay box diag.. I would greatly appreciate it.

Best regards Pat. Burdon

Off hand I don't know any threads in which people have used the relay box in an RX-7 before. So I don't have any links to provide. Essentially you would follow the standard install in the documentation of the relay board, making the changes needed specifically for the RX-7.
