Well fella's, it is just about that time to start my car for the first time in 4 years! My mods are in my sig. I need a map, something just to start my car. The car wont really be driven until better weather. I just need something to start it up and diagnose any problems that may occur from there. The motor is a full bridge, 890 primary, 1680 secondaries, and starting up on a set of stock plugs. I am not really a tuner otherwise I would make my own map so if somebody has a similar setup it would be terrific if you could post it.
I don't know of too many people running full bridge setups on MS.
My recommendation is to do the following:
1) Use the map we sent you for basic setup
2) recalculate req_fuel using the size of your primary injectors
3) charge your battery (no joke)
4) push the throttle all the way down, and crank (for flood-clear mode)
5) while cranking, make sure you're getting a good tach signal (should crank between 150 and 300 rpms, on all the healthy batteries/starters I've seen around 280)
6) If you get good cranking rpm, try to fire it up
7) If this is the first start after a rebuild, you may want to try pulling it behind another vehicle in gear to start it the first time.
8) Get an extra set of leading plugs, maybe a couple extra sets... First time starting and trying to get it to idle may end up flooding the engine a few times. It's easier to do if you have an extra set of hands/feet to step on the throttle to keep the engine running long enough to make fuel adjustments after it starts.
