hey ken good news the car is starting now every turn of key and is revving pretty decent without tuning eae yet. i used the noise filter settings tweaked them a little bit and no sync loss at all.

im trying to figure out how to turn off ego control or if its off already so i can tune eveything myself without interference of the megasquirt ego control.

i did notice that my aem wideband gauge doesnt match whats in megatune unless i shut off the car and recalibrate the afr sensor.

so far so good everything is working pretty good so far. im very happy with it.

but my question is how do i add the second 12v wire for the flyback circuit? is there a write up on how to do this?

 

You can just set the controller authority to 0, or set the step size to 0, or set the RPM/load limits so that you'll never hit them.

In a datalog, if it's not doing anything "Gego" will be 100%

Yeah, you have to recalibrate for the wideband you're using.

There is on the msextra forum I believe. I'll have to see if I can dig that up.

hey ken everything is running pretty good so far. the only downer i have is that there is no way i can use spark adv table2 with dual table selected or tableswitching on. i get spark adv table3 but it has no tuning page for it. just spark adv table2. is there a way to get spark adv table3 or turn on spark adv table2?

 

I'm not sure I understand... So you can turn on table switching, but the GUI leaves VE table 3 grayed out?

under the tuning tab there is no spark adv table 3 its just spark adv table 2. fuel ve 3 is there but not for ignition 3.

 

I'll take a look to see if I can replicate the issue. Could you post an msq with settings that actually demonstrate the problem?

the problem is in megatune. i have table switching for spark adv turned on and it gives me spark adv table 3 but it does not show under the tuning tab. it shows spark adv table 2 under the tuning tab but i cant turn on table two.

 

never mind ken. i figured out that i can use the ignition table under the extended tab to tune ignition advance table 3. i logged it and it works.
