has any one combined megasquirt and a carb.,,,,?i do a few scca road race cars and would like to add a programable ignition to better fine tune the motor to my Pi pipe expansion chamber thus the idea was born to add a tps sensor to a weber carb connect th e map sensor and water temp sensor but just run the ignition side of the megasquirt running a moddied 2nd gen crank angle sensor.... any one have some ideas?

 

I'm running a 4 barrel nikki carby with an unmodified 2nd gen crank angle sensor, but I had to build an extra variable reluctor circuit to accept the second wheel on the CAS. It works just fine, I'm planning on putting fuel injection on it down the track though.

 

I went ignition only and then added fuel later. It works well, much better than a dizzy
