If you are running sequential...check this setting

I have been running an MS3Pro Gen1 in my FC for probably 10 years. Ran a DIY MS2 prior to that. For most of that time with the 13BT I ran batch fire, and wasted spark with stock coils. Ran fine no issues.

Now that I am running full sequential firing, I started digging into some of the deeper injection options including injection angle timing. Like most I followed Aaron's post and settings - and it shows "Angle Specifies : End of squirt"

I have found that changing that to beginning of squirt made a very positive change in how my engine responded. Idle control, and throttle tip in is much more precise and less jerky. I was able to pull a good amount of fuel out of the idle area of the map as well. cold starts without an idle valve also are much easier. no need to hold the throttle now.

So if you havent checked yours, I suggest you go take a look!

For clarity:
NA 20B
FFE Trigger kit
IGN1A coils
stock intake, stock injectors.

Is your injector timing table modified ? "End of squirt" is usually the most common setting, regardless of ms3 or another efi.
It's interesting that it made your car run better.

I did adjust the injector timing table, but only a small amount. like...were talking 1.1 vs 1.0. I'm running stock injectors so I used data I could find on the forum here, it was a pain to find anything useful.

I did some looking into this recently. You may check out this informative thread on the Link forum as Link uses beginning of squirt in their rotary default settings.
