Idle/BAC Valve settings

Hello all.

I am wondering what people are using as their Idle Valve Frequency for anyone who is controling their BAC valve with the MegaSquirt. I am currently using 100 and it seems to work. Is anyone else using a different number which may work better?

I have 50 in there for the frequency right now (just kind of randomly chose a number) and it works, but there is almost no affect on idle below 20 and above 30. It would be nice to extend this range a little bit more, but Im not sure if the frequency would do that.

Hmm, interesting. I'm pretty sure my randomly chosen 100 has more range than that. I know I don't get any change above 50 but i'm not exactly sure where the lower limit is, but i'm sure it has to be somewhere around 10-20. This makes me want to do more testing with these parameters. Anyone else running anything different?

Using 50 actually gives you a higher frequency than using 100. In my experience the range of duty cycles that you can use with this valve between open and closed is pretty small.
