I though about building one. It seems like a neat thing for when you get your car tuned right. You could use that instead of draging a laptop around. I have already got one laptop stolen. I would be harder for thieve to steal it if it is not there!!!

 

you can't use megaview to change parameters in msns-extra, you can only view parameters.

 

I know you can't change msns-extra stuff but can you change anything at all.

 

you can't change anything if you're using it with msns-extra. I believe you can change parameters with megaview only if you're using it with the standard B&G megasquirt firmware.

MegaView is display-only with the -extra embedded code rotary guys will be using. There is software that runs on older Palm handhelds to allow display, datalogging, and rudimentary editting of configuration settings. That's the only non-laptop solution I'm aware of that suits -extra.

 

I quess I will stick to the hold laptop.
