Smile Ground both CAS wheels to the MS ground?

Easy Question!

Do I ground both CAS wheels to the MS ground, or does the 2 tooth wheel need to be grounded back to the gnd used in the additional LM1815N VR circuit?

Thanks!

Paul.

Ground the G sensor as close to the lm1815 as possible.

Ok, I guess this means I will need to find another spare pin on the DB37 to run the ground through from the CAS to here.

I have used:
IAC1A
IAC1B
IAC2A
IAC2B

Which pin could I use for this purpose?

All the best!

Paul.
PS. Nearly finished the howto guide

There are 4 more pins, although I can't remember their names, they're located under the MAP sensor on the v3 board.

I think they're labled for CAN.

Hey Ken,

That said, I have measured 0 resistance between the GND feeding the proto area and the GND pins 8 9 10 11. Do you think perhaps if I also ran another wire on the board between the proto area gnd and the db37 ground pins, using the same ground would be ok?

I think on the underside of the board IGN connects through to pin#36 of the db37 connector and is free unless using an ignition module (where this would be jumped to JS10)

Would you go for a seperate ground or keep them the same?

Cheers,

Paul.

PS - These seem to be free:
SPR1 - Pin3
SPR2 - Pin4
SPR3 - Pin5
SPR4 - Pin6

Yeah, there should be 8 total free, 4 under the MAP sensor, and 4 behind the MOV.

You should run the ground for the G sensor straight to the lm1815. The reason being that when the engine is running, with the shared ground plane, you can get slight fluctuations that'll easily affect the signal from the G sensor but won't cause a problem if the G- goes all the way to the lm1815.
