fan circuit issue

Can someone point me in the right direction here?

I have JS11 to IN2 (on the Zeal), and OUT2 to SPR1 and am using knock enable to operate the Efan. I have the circuit wired as it is in this picture:

with the exception of the fan trigger - its on Pin 3 (SPR1).

As soon as I plug in the fuse, all 3 LEDs pop on... and this is with NO KEY IN THE IGN!

Only thing I can think of was that pin 3 was grounded... and it isnt.

Now that I think about it, the diode on that relay was forgotten about at first... but its on there now. Think that may have caused the transistor on IN2/OUT2 to blow? It LOOKS fine... but I know that cant be used as a reliable indicator.

fixed it... it was the transistor. Luckily the Zeal has a couple "spares"
