expected "MSII Rev2.88600" recieved "MSII Rev2.8880"

how do I fix this?

Im building the MS and I have setup the serial communication and am trying to run megatune properly but I think it is messing up due to that error.

Nevermind I think I fixed I forgot to download "megasquirt-II.ini.2.8"

i have having this same issue. I downloaded the Megasquirt-II.ini.2.8 file and put it with the other files (so i think) but it doesn't recognize that i did so and the error still comes through. There is no option for that version in the list that megatune brings up.

You will have to save the ini or s19 file in megatune so you can activate it.

Keep in mind that the standard ms2 firmware will not run the rx7 ignition system.

You need to get ms2/extra to do that. Check the firmware sticky at the top of this section of the forum.

The problem you guys are having is that you've got an ini version that does not match the firmware on the ms2.
