GA differences in Aaroncake and DIY write ups

There are a couple of differences in Aaron's write up and the one that DIY did. I am getting ready to pull mine out and do the upgrades for ignition control on my 1979 12a Turbo with MSII 3.0. Got the Zeal card and CPS last week.

The write ups are similar but have some slight differences mostly due to building the second vr conditioner circuit. DIY uses 1k resistors and Aaron uses 4.7k. Is this due to Zeal daughter card extras needing more current?

Thanks,
Danny

If using the zeal card you do not need to build the 2nd vr circuit. Use 4.7k resistors mounted in the pull up fashon to drive your coils. I would suggest upgrading to GM LS truck coils. They are cheap and throw a good spark. For this you will need to build a 4thignition circuit. Just need an input and build the led circuit in the proto area and fire it as COP in rx8 mode.

Good luck

Please follow only one writeup to prevent confusion. There are multiple methods.
