Per our conversation last night, have you checked:

1. VR sensor wires backwards? Note that after you switch them, you will probably have to readjust the position of the CAS with the timing locked.

2. 'Squirt configured for VROUT/VROUTINV with incorrect software setting rising vs. trailing edge?

3. Trailing coil connected to leading trigger wire or vice versa?

4. Trailing toggle and trigger mixed up?

5. Trailing front coil hooked to rear rotor and rear coil hooked to front rotor?

Jerry@DIYautotune had this problem on their in-house rx7 and it caused knock and other issues until he fixed it.

So it was the trailing wires backwards?

Remember I pulled a lot of timing out of the map during troubleshooting, so you will want to probably put that back in by loading the MSQ I saved as "1".
