Order the MSPKIT direct from the creators of MegaSquirt. This kit includes the V3.0 circuit board, MAP sensor, and pre-programmed cpu, for $80. Then order a kit of all remaining parts from a guy like Glen's Garage for $119. Then take the time to learn about the system, and build your own. You'll never regret that step. Here's the links:

Order the MSPKIT from here: http://www.bgsoflex.com/mspo2.html

And V3.0 parts kit from here: http://www.glensgarage.com/catalog/p...products_id=64

This is a 'diy' ecu. If you aren't willing to take the time to 'diy', then one of the many readily available commercial systems is a better choice.

pre-built and plug'n play will be available soon for $450, or $420 without the plug 'n play adapter. But the cheapest way is to buy a kit or do what renns said... although I'm not sure that glen's garage or diyautotune sell just the parts without the board, case, and chip.... you might have to go to digi-key to get the parts.

I bought my last v2.2 kit from Glen for $82 shipped. Parts only, no board/CPU/MAP.. Included the case. I would buy from him before I would digikey, it's a lot better because he gives you a nice bulkhead connector for MAP, and the case is precut. It's probably cheaper, also, since you don't have to pay extra shipping/handling from different places. If it's not cheaper, it's at least the same price.
$130 is for a full kit, board CPU/MAP, etc..

There's a variety of sources out there, most of which are good. Glen's Garage is one of the first, and he's been doing a fine job. Here's the link to the full V3.0 kit, which as jayroc mentioned will save separate shipping fees, and it's $10 cheaper to boot!

V3.0 is really the way to go, as it has a number of improvements in design and includes one VR circuit on-board.

There's a thread "How skilled do you have to be to build the MS?" on the msefi forum right now. It's worth a read for those apprehensive about such things.

no, I can only include base maps for cars I've tuned on...

This includes 1) a modded S5 NA 2) a stock S4 NA

and will soon include 1) a stock S4 TII, and an S4 TII with a bigger turbo (I don't remember what tofuball said it is) with 550cc primaries and 1600cc secondaries.

I have 8 units ready for modification now, and will have 6 more soon. I just need stock ECU plugs. (I have 2 S4 and 1 S5 right now... not nearly enough)

I have .... 6-7 N/A S4 and 2 N/A S5 stock ECU's you can have for the cost of shipping.
I can take a better inventory this sunday and let you know, if you're interested. Hit me up on PM, I'd be shipping from WA.

it's really up to you... if you buy that prebuilt one, you're still going to need to modify it.

The MSII V3 uses the MSII daughtercard.
AT the moment, he'd want MSI.
