boost controller working but cant figure out how to keep it in boost

well i got the boost controller working was wired to the wrong pin, any ways now i can set my controller to open loop and set her up for at 58 so it looks like this pic
so it will boost nicely but if i hold it down it loses boost with the controller set to 58 i will hit 13psi just where i want it.
but once i go past 6000 rpm it drops fast to 10-7psi, not matter how much extra i tell the controller to keep boosting she wont, if i make it hit 15 psi before it starts to drop it still dose it... i tightened up my blow off valve and still same thing, added fuel, still no go the best i can do is keep shifting and watching my boost pressures once it hits 10psi i just shift to keep it high is this normal or is my waste gate just not able to hold on to anything more then the 13 psi for 3 seconds then it just drops down to 7psi ish???

your sig says you have the stock turbo. therefore what you are encountering is to be expected. it is a mechanical limitation of the factory turbo

What you are describing is normal with the stock turbo on stock ports, and worse with a street ported engine. It just can't flow enough air.

Now, DO NOT run the stock turbo at 25 PSI unless you want it to only last a few minutes. 14 PSI is the limit and you will probably find you don't make much more power at 14 than at 12.
