Looking to mod my MS2 v3 to run cop or LS1 coils in RX8 mode. Car is a 1st gen 12a turbo. There are several write ups, but none completely answer my questions.

The DIY Autotune write up mentions RX8 mode, but does not tell where you get Spark D output.

Aaron Cake write up uses FC ignition

The write at http://www.msextra.com/doc/pdf/MS2V30_Hardware-3.4.pdf has 2 step by step mods which cover outputs for Sparks A, B, C, and D and some tuner studio settings. It does not mention the second input for trailing timing. It does mention a second input for cam signal for use in a piston engine. Does Rotary mode use that?

Can somebody give me just a little direction here?

You guys have been great in the past and it has been very appreciated. This car has come a long way and did it's first 2 autocrosses this year. Hoping to really be ready come next spring.

I know this is an old thread. I did this mod and it works well. You need to build the led circuit in the proto area. Triger from js11 iirc and add the pull up resistor. Run your wire to an open pin on the db37.
