ok so i made an adapter harness and was wondering what would happen if i made some wrong connection or the whole thing wrong. would it just not work or would i kill everything??

it would depend on what you did wrong. If you miswired the tach or something it just wouldn't work. But if you miswired something like a 12V to a bad place it might damage something... but it's nothing that wouldn't be fixable.

basically, the same thing would happen if you miswired your harness...
