*****NOTE- MAY HAVE SOLVED. SOLUTION SOON****87 rx7 fc manual trans 13b bridgeported running on ms3 evo pro. I found a few posts similar to this concern but was unable to find the resolution. I installed an ms3evo pro with all of the wiring done as per Aaron Cake's videos/guides. The car runs and drives with no real concerns. The cold start/warm up enrichment still needs work. I was able to drive approx. 200-300mi already and utilize the tuning features in tuner studio to achieve proper afr/ smooth running. Recently decided to fix my tach. Other gauges on cluster working. Ran new wires to the speedo- grounds and tach signal from trailing coil. No change. Had an extra instrument cluster. Replaced and re tested with the same results. Commanded spark from a-d using ecm. Leading coil has spark on both ports when commanding spark a and b. The trailing coil has spark on only T1 for spark c and d. When spark c and/or d is commanded it still only sends spark out of T1. I figured since I had no tach and no spark I ordered a few coil packs to try out. Both new coil packs give me the same results. Not too concerned of the tach signal, I can just tap into the ms3 tach output but I would like to know if I should be getting spark from T2 or if a certain prerequisite must be met, eng load, rpm, map, ect. Attached is a few pictures of my settings incase its something simple I may have over looked. Thank you in advance for any tips/advice.

I double checked my wiring and found I had accidentally spliced in "spark E" to my trailing coil instead of "spark C".....My eye sight may be getting worse. Re tested and now have spark to each coil output when commanded. Haven't driven yet to see how much difference there will be. Keep in mind this is my first rotary so I didn't have a "before running" to compare to for power loss if any. Unfortunately I am still working on getting the tach to work so I will try to keep the post updated. I have the trailing coil tach signal wired directly to the icu with a clean power/ground. Still nothing. Again, I may use the MS3 tach output but I would prefer to obtain the read directly from the coil.
Alright, thank you for the info. Weird though as Aaron’s guide shows 2600cc as in this attachment. Any idea why? Pretty sure he also had a 1.3L. Most of my info is based off of his guide.
Update- Inspected the ICU circuit board. Most of the contact screws were rusted out on the "new to me" cluster. Unable remove the screws to clean without breaking them. Bench tested to verify high resistance due to the rust build up. Found another ICU for cheap since I couldn't find my original. Installed and now have a working tach. Now just waiting for the weather to turn around to get a nice test drive in and make sure everything is working. Thanks again for the tips elturbonitroso.
