I still need alot of work on the tuning but it get better everytime I go out to tune. I don't have access to a dyno so it is hard to tune. I will post everything I got. I still having trouble with accelenrichement and starting. I am too busy driving full throttle to mess with that stuff. I have not tried this latest msq yet I just made some changes tonight. But it is very close to what I had.


The list of mods to the engine

turbo S4 engine with half-bridge
S5 stat gears
ssauto manifold and wastegate
cheap *** ebay gt35 turbo @ 14psi
1600cc/550cc walbro fuel pump
3" exhaust with 2 inline mufflers (still loud)


I tried to make this as cheap as possible.

 

You are the first person I've seen using a 550/1600cc injector setup on a MS1.Do you have them staging smoothly,and what method are you using to stage them?

 

they don't exactly stage perfect but it works I tried to stage them were I would rarely be and not under high load.

I've got an S5 halfbridge, rx8 stationaries, panspeed manifold, greddy TD07-25a, 1600/720, 3" single, etc..

Glad to be of service. As I said before the map is only about 75% tuned I have lots of work to do yet. I am still learning alot about timing. I would be careful trying this msq. I have had no problems but every car is different. Keep us updated on your progress. I am also looking for T2 diff and axles if anybody know were I can find one. I am in New Brunswick

 

I have no idea as to where you could go out there - try auto wreckers of course.

but there are lots in ontario, I can probably get a diff/axles for about $250. Haven't broken mine yet thankfully

 

I am still running NA stuff it is holding up better than most poeple say they do. I even have OS giken twin plate clutch. The junk yard around here don't have anything.
