029y4 hardware latency values

I just updated to 029y4 for the ability to correct the hardware latency for spark timing, but was wondering what sort of values are correct. I dont have a timing light here (just moved to MI from NJ), and the one I had in NJ needed a spark plug to be unplugged to get a timing signal, so I doubt i could get the RPMs high enough and stable enough to read correctly and do it myself.

Is the latency a set value, or does it depend on the specific hardware configuration, software options being used, or something else? Basically, if I were to use a number that someone else came up with, would it be applicable to my setup, and what would cause it to differ? Thanks!

Latency should be a pretty standard value, but could depend on tolerances on the various parts used.

For that reason, I recommend tuning it yourself.
