Description:
I’m looking for a manual chaste white rx7 of any trim. Carb/smog and relatively stock is a huge plus.
Feel free to PM me. I have cash in hand - I've been searching for a while now. Located in Los Angeles, but more than willing to fly out if needed.
Not that it helps but you just missed out on this '94 CW in Los Angeles, 30k miles, mostly stock, Maybe check that platform as well on a regular basis.
It went live last week and sold just a day or so ago.

I know man I just missed it! I was second in line "in talks" with that guy, but the first person jumped on it just before me. The compression test for the car was also aces. That car was priced at $46k (he was firm), for 30k miles, bone stock, with good compression. Is that about the going rate?

@NA6 - What were the compression numbers if you don't mind me asking ?
If the engine is healthy I would say this car could have easily sold in the mid 50's. Someone got a good deal it seems.

Yea definitely. The numbers were around 108-110 for the front rotor, and 110-112 for the rear rotor if I remember correctly. May have those numbers switched. But it was definitely high 100's, low 110's with only 1-3 gap between faces for both rotors.
The only suspect thing is it was a video of the numbers and the videographer never panned to show the car. Probably is me overthinking, but I would think you'd show the car you're compression testing. That could have been a video of a perfect newly rebuilt motor from 2010 for all I knew since it only showed the compression device. It had two decently sized dents and paint chipping on the right side of the car where something in a garage had fallen on it. That was touch up painted pretty poorly, but nothing crazy. Still feel like 46k was a great price for it.

Thank you! Hoping to find one soon. I think it will be a while too though since I'll be pretty strict on condition and passing carb/smog. Can't really budge on that since they're so strict here in California.
@C S - out of curiosity, how did you know it was 15 minutes after the post went live ? I didn't see any time stamping on that site ?
when i didnt get aq reply and it was marked sold i emailed the website owners or staff and asked how i missed it as i browse that website multiple times per day, they said nope email went approx 15m after posting.
I replied probably over 15 minutes after it was posted, but I realized I could notify the owner of my interest once every 24 hours. I think they probably got sick of my messages, so he ended up calling me and slotting me in. Anyway, that was definitely a missed opportunity. Hopefully another pops up!

The first person to contact him bought it. He basically said if you have the $46k cash then you could swipe it, but I had no way of getting that kind of cash on a weekend. He wasn't ok with a wire either. I was just hoping the first buyer would back out, but he didn't.
wonder if the car wasn’t as nice as it seems , why underprice it - unless market isn’t strong as it seems at the moment for these
