Description:

Needs engine rebuild/replacement, will make a nice rare, unique project car. An absolute pleasure to drive, especially with the top down on a nice day. I really loved this car and I've been holding onto it for way too long hoping to fix it up one day, but the time has come to let it go. [<- is what I originally wrote years ago. I'm a pretty bad procrastinator. Need to finally get this taken care of.]

Does not run. Has not run since 2013. Will need to be towed. Sat outside for a while. Sat in a storage unit for a while. Sat in the garage it's currently in for a while.

I was told by a rotary mechanic that the coolant seals inside engine are bad, so coolant leaks into the engine. It would run once started, from a roll start for example, but the coolant leak made normal starting difficult.

Convertible top works but leaks around the passenger side window, has a few tears
Shifter bushing needs to be replaced
Headrest speakers work intermittently

(also posted here: https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/...938010198.html)

So I just looked inside the car for the first time in a while, and it seems a layer of what looks like white mold has formed.

Honestly, after all this time, my feeling is it's probably going to need a lot of work overall. I'd much rather have it go to someone who appreciates it than send it to a scrapyard or something.

These are old pictures. Current appearance is.. a bit worse. Will update with current pics soon.
