Description:

I've had these sitting around for a number of years and have accepted that I am probably never going to use them so listing them FS.

These are basically a set of high quality solenoids to replace the often troublesome stock solenoids.  They are made from material that tolerate heat better and are more precise.

Original Thread for background:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...3/#post4131555

Some highlights describing these:

Basically, what I ended up building is a completely custom 5-solenoid setup (I'm running simplified sequential, so I only have the following solenoids: Purge Control, CCA, CRV, TCA (pressure), TCA (vacuum). These solenoids can be bolted together in almost any combination imaginable.

Solenoid specs:
Viton seals
Stainless steel internals
Molded coil (resistant to water, and high temperatures)
Custom aluminum manifolds
100psi rating
Use custom #10-32 brass nipples
Better flow and reaction time than stockers
Rebuildable

Not sure what to ask for these so let's start at the later GB price of $300 shipped?  Or PM me with an offer.  Thanks!

I see your setup is 4 solenoids instead of 5. Is one doing the function of 2 or is there some other thought at play on which 4 you wanted to replace with these?

Good question! Probably best for me to just copy the answer to that question from the original thread. TL;DR, the 4 solenoid option focuses on sequential turbo control only.

There has been a long-used method to simplify this system as shown here: http://www.robrobinette.com/turbo_sy...lification.htm. There are also countless threads on the forums pertaining to simplifying the system. Basically, this cuts down on all of the solenoids except those needed to properly control the turbos. In other words, it eliminates the emissions and miscellaneous solenoids.

The system that I have shown here is basically takes the idea outlined on Robinette's site, and improves it. The advantage here is that the new solenoids are much more reliable, they're much more compact, and it cleans up the "mess" under the UIM.

The great part is that I can custom build the system to do anything you want! I just recently got a PM from a gentleman asking if he could use these to upgrade the 4 turbo-control solenoids, but keep all his stock emissions solenoids (for smog testing). Sure, no problem! Basically, the best way to explain it is that these solenoids are extremely improved direct replacements for the stockers.

Hope that helps to clear things up.

Oh yeah, Group Buy has been approved!!! I'll be posting a GB thread later on today!

Got it. So purge is ditched or left alone to be handled by stock solenoid. Makes sense.

I'll take 'em. Check PMs
