Description:
Mazdaspeed Type F seats with FD specifics rails/brackets.
Fabric is a dark blue suede-like material with dark blue perforated fabric in the center back and cushion.
Manual adjustable seat tilt and sliding function. Original material. The right seat has more wear than the left. Overall good shape for age. The right sided seat has somewhere around the outside bolstering and a very small hole/cigarette burn in the cushion. There is also some wear of the Mazdaspeed stitching. Perfect mechanical function. Please see pictures for details.

The seats have integrated rails, and there are steel "foot" mounts that bolt to the integrated rails. You'd need to find or fabricate FC-specific feet. I don't remember ever seeing FC mounts for sale, for this style of seat.

These seats are very comfortable, I have a set in my FD. Mazda had these Type F seats made by an automotive supplier (it was not Bride as a bunch of people have speculated over time). They are not a bride pattern bracket either, it's completely specific to this seat. Mazda had brackets made for several different Mazda vehicles sold during the same year so they could use them in the Mazdaspeed accessory catalog for multiple different models in the early Series 6 model cars. The manufacturer no longer makes those brackets for any of the cars. Those seat brackets are absolutely unobtanium. I had to fabricate my own seat mounts for them. I'd say at least half the value of these seats are the brackets, because that is what it would cost you in labor/time/materials to have a shop fit them into an FD (or FC).
Gah, it's very tempting. I just know the boss lady will be pissed if I get these and will have to sit on it for a bit to make it work for the FC or until I do another project FD.

There are several pairs of Mazdaspeed seats on Yahoo Auctions Japan currently that are without mounting brackets. Occasionally you can snag a pair for fairly cheap. Unfortunately, between shipping and tariffs, getting them over here will not be cheap!
