Description:

Hello,

Just recently started getting serious about picking up an FD. Preferences would be < 100k miles, paint + body in good shape (i.e. no major dents/dings, rust, or faded paint), and Montego Blue color. Spec-wise I would like something OEM or OEM+ if possible.

Somewhat flexible on price, but trying to stay around 40k-45k at most. I'm in TX but definitely willing to travel for the right car. Let me know you have any leads! Thanks.

Red Rocket in California

I am asking $35,500 but will be willing to
negotiate of course. The car was purchased from Norm Reeve dealership in Temecula, CA and she has 44,028 miles. The car is in excellent condition with few minors imperfection. I used to push her outside the garage and her rear bumper coating is a little bit faded. The blow motor needs to be replaced (I can hear rattling sound). The driver side view mirror (the housing) chipped, perhaps one of my Pyrenees pup had chewed it. She is equipped with Greddy exhaust, racing beat air intake (although I still keep the original parts). I did install security alarm by myself which I regretted (not professional). The soft fabrics both under driver and passen

In

ger mats disintegrate, and the bose sound system is making funny noise as if it causes from interference (maybe the alarm system I installed). Well, other than the sound of click, not starting and not registered, she is just fine and needs TLC. All papers are complete including dealership sticker etc

Unfortunately this isn't quite the car I am looking for, and was hoping for Montego Blue or maybe black as a backup option. Thank you for the reply!

We have a 93 Montego Blue that has been stored since 2017 due to blown oil seals. 78,000 miles, automatic.

I would prefer a manual transmission, but thank you for the reply

I have a '93 Montego Blue RX7. It has a street ported fully rebuilt engine with new brand new housings. The stock twin turbos are still there, but converted to parallel (rats nest gone!). The transmission 5th gear syncro was done at the same time with all new seals and gaskets, as this is a common issue (fifth gear grind). It has a stage 1 ACT clutch setup with a chromoly flywheel. There is a Pettit Racing stage 3 intercooler setup. The wheels are custom Work Emotion ZR10 2 piece wheels, ordered from Work wheels straight from Japan, with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires.
There is 600 miles on this build. Total car mileage is 83K.
Body is near perfect, with a factory approved repaint to restoration specs. The front fenders were replaced at this time with brand new Mazda fenders, as the previous owner rolled the fenders.
Long story short, I haven't listed this car yet, but will in the next couple of weeks, probably on BAT. I have a 300zx TT that I just finished restoring and an older 911 that I just started, and my time with the RX7 is coming to an end.
I'll attach some photos.
