Description:

the stock turbos start to badly cavitate above 11 psi. this slippage superheats the air into the 400 F area. the stock intercooler is not designed to deal with higher intake air temps. neither is the engine. one of the solutions is a highly efficient intrcooler. here it is. built by the same company that does intercoolers for F1 and Indycars. the same construction intercooler from this company for a Porsche prices at $4400. ( for a right and left side so there are two.)

you will need a Pettit duct and i recommend a Spal 11 inch puller fan.  the IC has Spal mounting brackets. the duct is $240 and available from Pettit. you will also need to custom fab the IC intakes to fit your setup as well as move your battery.

the intercooler is very very efficient in the 350 rwhp area and  is not for higher flow rates than the typical OE turbo setup running at higher boost.
